Welcome to the SUGARWOOD HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION website!

The easter egg hunt has been postponed to Saturday, March 22 due to bad weather.

Sugarwood is an upscale community located in the heart of Farragut.   Conveniently located off of Kingston Pike, it is a short distance from all the amenities that West Knoxville has to offer but still maintains the quiet neighborhood setting that makes it such a desirable location.

There are 264 residences ranging in price from approximately $250,000 to over $450,000.   Neighborhood amenities include a large community swimming pool staffed with trained lifeguards, two tennis courts, volleyball court, and an outdoor pavilion.

Membership dues for the Sugarwood Homeowners Association for 2007 are $215. Membership in the Sugarwood Homeowners Association entitles members to use of the pool, tennis courts and other recreational facilities.

"Sugarwood News" is a neighborhood newsletter which is published monthly for all residents.   Sugarwood also maintains a website which can be accessed at www.sugarwood.org, and an email network for keeping residents informed of events and issues important to the neighborhood.

The public school system is zoned for Farragut Primary, Intermediate, Middle, and High Schools.

Farragut also does not collect a separate property tax.   As such, property taxes for Farragut residents are the same as those for Knox County residents which is currently 2.97 percent of assessed property value.
