Mission Statement

The Sugarwood Homeowners Association (SHA) is made up of residents living in the Sugarwood Subdivision. The mission of the SHA Board of Directors is to represent the Sugarwood Subdivision on matters of interest (such as property values, administrative issues, maintenance of the common areas, and safety issues inside the legal boundaries of the neighborhood) that affect the subdivision as a whole.

Operating Statement

The volunteer Board of Directors meets monthly, and residents are invited to attend meetings and bring matters of interest before the Board during Residents Forum. Directors are elected for two year terms at the annual Membership Meeting held each January. Each member household in good standing is entitled to one vote.

Our current covenants make membership in the SHA and payment of operating expenses a requirement for all families owning a home in Sugarwood.

Invoices for SHA dues are mailed in December / January at least two weeks prior to the annual meeting. Dues should be paid prior to the recreation area opening in May.

The recreation area; pool, tennis courts, volleyball court, pavilion, and grounds are reserved for dues paying SHA Members in good standing and their invited guest.
